These calculators are backed by industry-proven technology tables, which can be fine-adjusted by the user if needed. There is no need to create calculation formulas or provide the data.
Build-in rectangular and free-form-nesting
The rapid component nesting feature automatically assesses the material usage of different sheet sizes preferred by the user, thereby determining the optimum raw material cost. It takes into account factors such as grain direction and remnant size limitations, as necessary.
Automated workflow and material allocation
Depending on the main cutting operation and the BOM of the part, Express Estimator suggests the most appropriate workflow. The automatic assignment of subparts and materials to the correct operations not only helps calculate part handling time more accurately but also automatically prepares the part for the later manufacturing stage when the order is received.

To expedite the quote acceptance process, temporary quotes can be generated in urgent situations, even if certain material and subcontract prices are missing or unverified. In Express Estimator, you can define a part with production-ready quality. This makes it easy to create a JOB to produce the part. When a JOB is created, you can generate JOB cards for each individual part in the assembly, detailing the operations and associated materials required. Additionally, you can export assembly data and generate material and resource report for purchasing and resource planning.
